Meet clients on more channels
Advisors and clients want to communicate across more channels than ever before. Firms need to capture those business conversations for supervision and recordkeeping, with the context needed to stand up to examination.

Channel capture, answered
-
Communications capture collects employees' business messages from the channels they use, such as email, text, WhatsApp, Teams, and LinkedIn, so a firm can keep, supervise, and produce them as books and records. Red Oak captures each channel once, and the same capture feeds supervision and the archive. Each conversation is kept in its native format, as the thread it was.
-
A business conversation is a record whatever app or device carries it, so text and messaging apps fall under the same retention rules as email, under SEC Rule 17a-4(b)(4) and Advisers Act Rule 204-2(a)(7). That reaches email, texts, WhatsApp, collaboration tools, and social media when they carry firm business. Red Oak captures each of these families in native format. Off-channel communications
-
On iPhone, Red Oak captures iMessage on company or personal phones, with group chats, photos, files, and records of deleted messages, and SMS, MMS, and RCS forwarded from the phone. On Android, texts arrive through a capture app on the phone. On personal phones, Trusted Contacts keeps conversations with personal contacts out of capture.
-
Red Oak captures Teams and Slack channel and direct messages with their threads, edits, deletions, reactions, and files, and keeps each thread in order. Communications supervision
-
Red Oak captures workplace conversations with generative AI tools through native connectors, alongside the firm's other channels. The conversations reach the same archive and review queues as email and chat, so they can be searched, supervised, and produced. See a demo
Social media and video archiving
Red Oak captures posts, comments, replies, and direct messages from LinkedIn, X, Facebook Pages, and Instagram business accounts, and posts and videos from TikTok, YouTube, and Vimeo. Capture runs on the accounts the firm enrolls: company pages, business accounts, and employees' own LinkedIn profiles.
Same idea, different record by source
