Outpatient Cardiac Catheterization Lab Utilizes State-of-the-Art Equipment
The Outpatient Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Red Oak Cardiovascular Center uses a state-of-the-art X-ray system. General Electric Company's Advantex DLX digital system provides image quality and performance efficiency through the latest computer software and digital electronic technology. This unique and calm outpatient environment allows highly skilled professionals to provide very personal care to the patient with family member participation.
Cardiac Catheterization is the most definitive test available to diagnose the presence of coronary artery disease and certain other cardiac disorders. This procedure is performed safely and comfortably in our Outpatient Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The average stay at Red Oak Cardiovascular Center is about five hours, compared to one or more days in a hospital, which helps contain costs while maintaining the highest level of care. Equally important the patient recovers in a private room where family involvement helps alleviate anxiety and speed the recovery.
